The Honourable Christian Paradis joined GardaWorld in January 2016 as Senior Vice President, Strategic Development, Security Services. His mission is primarily to promote the benefits of public-private partnerships of public services in Canada. When implemented with rigor and common sense, outsourcing is equally capable of making a significant contribution to public services.
Recognized as a results-driven political figure, Christian was Member of the Parliament of Canada for the Mégantic-L’Érable from 2006 to 2015, and a Federal Minister between 2007 and 2015, of Public Works and Government Services, Natural Resources, Industry and International Development, and Francophonie. Over the last years, Christian could see and appreciate the importance of the security services of the population, both in Canada and around the world.
He is a member of the Boards of Directors of Canadian Wildlife Foundation and Canada World Youth. Christian holds an ungraduate degree in law from Université de Sherbrooke as well as a graduate degree in corporate law from Université Laval.
