The Wall of Honor at our St. Louis corporate office recognizes GardaWorld Security Ambassadors who have demonstrated extraordinary courage and taken life-saving action in the line of duty. Here are a few of the remarkable stories behind our recent Wall of Honor heroes.

Quick action saves a life during a medical emergency

During a late-night shift, Ambassador Cami was approached by a bus driver who reported that a passenger had collapsed and was unresponsive.

Ambassador Cami immediately called 911 and rushed to the bus, where she began performing chest compressions with assistance from the driver. She continued providing care until paramedics arrived and successfully revived the individual before transporting him for further medical attention.

But Ambassador Cami's compassion didn't stop there. Following the emergency, she took the initiative to contact the man's brother to arrange for his belongings to be collected.

Throughout the incident, Ambassador Cami was also training a new Security Ambassador, setting a powerful example of the quick thinking and compassion that can make a life-saving difference.

Teamwork makes the difference during back-to-back emergencies

When two medical emergencies occurred less than an hour apart, five GardaWorld Security Ambassadors worked together to ensure both individuals received prompt care.

During the first emergency, Ambassadors Ashley and Morgan responded to an individual experiencing a possible heart attack, reaching the person within three minutes and remaining on-site until emergency responders arrived. Meanwhile, Ambassador Mariah coordinated radio communications and tracked emergency response activity to keep the team informed.

Just 50 minutes after the initial call, the team faced another emergency involving an individual experiencing a possible asthma attack. Ambassador Stacy helped guide first responders to the individual, while Ambassador Rasha coordinated access points and emergency vehicle movements. Ambassador Mariah once again maintained communications and tracked response times.

Thanks to their coordinated efforts, both individuals received timely medical attention and were reported to be recovering well. Their response demonstrated the critical importance of teamwork, communication, and preparedness when every second counts.

Stepping up when a fellow Ambassador needed help

When a fellow Security Ambassador suddenly became unresponsive and began experiencing seizure-like symptoms, Ambassador Chrisember immediately recognized the seriousness of the situation and took action.

She carefully assisted her colleague to the floor to prevent further injury and ensured emergency medical services were contacted. While waiting for help, Ambassador Chrisember remained by her colleague's side, monitoring her condition, keeping her comfortable, and relaying important information to emergency dispatchers.

At the same time, she coordinated with leadership to arrange relief coverage and maintain security operations during the emergency.
Ambassador Chrisember's ability to balance compassionate care with her responsibilities demonstrated exceptional composure and leadership under pressure, ensuring her fellow Ambassador received timely assistance during a frightening medical emergency.

A compassionate response in a moment of crisis

During an overnight security patrol, Ambassador Ray heard a faint voice calling for help. Rather than dismissing the sound, he searched the surrounding area and discovered an individual on a rooftop in the midst of a suicide attempt.

Recognizing the immediate danger, Ambassador Ray called for assistance and directed staff to contact law enforcement. He then calmly engaged the individual in conversation, using empathy and de-escalation techniques to establish trust and keep the person engaged.

Ambassador Ray remained composed throughout the encounter, maintaining communication until law enforcement arrived and the situation was safely resolved. His vigilance, quick thinking, and compassionate response helped prevent a tragedy and demonstrated the life-saving impact a Security Ambassador can have in a moment of crisis.
