Cash In Transit and Cybersecurity at the SCTA

October 4, 2019

GardaWorld will be represented at the next Secure and Cash Transportation Association (SCTA) conference with two talks featuring innovative and compelling content on cash in transit and cybersecurity.

Vice President and Chief Security Officer Guy Côté will discuss the growing threat of armoured truck robberies using explosives. His analysis, in the wake of recent attacks, will delve into the new modus operandi of criminals. As well, Senior Consultant in Information Security Ghonche Alavi will address the ever-increasing risks posed by ransomware and the theft of personal data. These two threats count as the most pressing concerns facing consumers and the industry in cyberspace today.

SCTA 2019 will be held in Chicago, from October 9 to 11.
