About the job

When working in confined spaces, Confined Space Attendant have one of the most important roles.

The main responsibility of the Attendant is to maintain eye and/or auditory contact with workers to ensure their safety and be able to initiate emergency measures quickly in the event of a problem.

Schedules vary, but are usually 12-hours long, and work sites can be indoors or outdoors. At GardaWorld, our team enjoys a competitive salary averaging about $19/hour, and in some cases, workers can earn financial bonuses and meal and accommodation allowances too.

 

Do you have what it takes? The ideal candidate must ….

  • Be 18 years or older
  • Be in good physical condition (to be able to remain standing for long periods)
  • Have a good sense of observation, excellent ability to concentrate, and good communication skills
  • Successfully complete the 4-hour training about supervision in confined spaces, provided by GardaWorld
