A deadly winter storm system that has already claimed thirteen lives is predicted to affect  major portion of the country as it makes its way east in advance of the Thanksgiving holiday. The storm system is expected to bring heavy rainfall in the Southeast on Monday and Tuesday before turning to snow as it moves northeast on Wednesday.
