GardaWorld’s “Local Engagement” Assists Iraqi Family

May 25, 2012

Thanks to GardaWorld Global Risk Consulting Group’s well-established practice of “local engagement,” three young teens afflicted with polio in a remote village outside Basra in Southern Iraq gained mobility with wheelchairs donated by GardaWorld personnel, who also provide medical care, medicine and equipment as well as assist villagers with rebuilding homes. Previous initiatives have provided assistance for people impacted by annual floods in Pakistan and the 2011 earthquake in Haiti.
