On March 17, two inexperienced pilots flying solo collided mid-flight and their aircrafts crashed at Promenades Saint-Bruno. Two GardaWorld agents, present on site, responded in an exceptional way during this tragic event.
Yannick Gauthier, security guard, rushed with the first aid kit on the roof of the building in the minutes following the crash of the aircraft despite the danger he was exposing himself to. Helped by two Cadillac Fairview employees, he was able to pull out the seriously injured pilot. He then actively participated in the evacuation of the shopping mall.
His supervisor, Étienne Routhier, also a GardaWorld employee, coordinated the entire intervention with the emergency services as well as the evacuation of the shopping mall. He assisted the various responses teams on site and ensured that to keep all tenants informed as the day unfolded.
Join us in congratulating the involvement and dedication of our two employees who helped secure the premises and carry out rescue operations.
We are proud to count them in our ranks !
