Country Risk Level
Minimal Risk: security-related incidents are rare and personnel on the ground are not exposed to any particular threat of note (security, health, social, political, etc.)
Low Risk: stable security environment where threats to safety of movement are generally rare or absent (kidnappings, regular social unrest, political instability, etc.); prevalent security concerns are minor
Medium Risk: although the security environment remains stable, personnel on the ground should remain vigilant due to notable security concerns in some areas (high crime rates, significant environmental risk, etc.)
High Risk: personnel on the ground should maintain a high level of vigilance due to the presence of considerable and multiple risk factors (high levels of insecurity, significant health concerns, social and/or political instability, etc.)
Critical Risk: some areas of the country may be out of government control or experiencing violent conflict; professional security advice and support should be sought prior to travel
