Event

Flights to Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM) were temporarily diverted after a mechanical failure caused a Malindo Air flight to block the runway late on Thursday, April 19. While flights appear to be operating normally as of 02:00 (local time) on Friday, April 20, residual delays remain possible.

Advice

Travelers flying to, from, or through KTM are advised to confirm the status of their flights, arrive at the airport earlier than normal in anticipation of potentially increased waiting times, and contact their airline for more information.
