Powerful thunderstorms and associated transportation disruptions are expected across much of Europe on Thursday, May 31, and Friday, June 1. Flight delays and cancelations are to be anticipated; as of Thursday morning (local time), weather-related disruptions are being reported at airports in London, Edinburgh, Amsterdam, Bucharest, Brussels, Maastricht, and Paris. Flooding and wind damage, and subsequent power outages, are also possible. This adverse weather could continue into the weekend in some areas.
