At approximately 08:30 (local time) on Saturday, August 18, unidentified gunmen attacked an office of the United People's Democratic Front (UPDF) party in the town of Shonirbhar (Khagrachari district of Chittagong). According to reports, at least six UPDF members were killed in the shooting. As of Tuesday, August 21, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack.


Individuals in Chittagong are advised to monitor the situation, remain vigilant, and adhere to all instructions issued by the local authorities.
