On the early afternoon (local time) of Sunday, August 26, police reported a mass shooting incident in Jacksonville Landing (Florida). According to local sources, a gunman opened fire during a sports video game tournament. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office announced at approximately 14:50 (local time) that one suspect was shot and killed by police officers responding to the incident. Unconfirmed reports indicate that at least four people were killed in the shooting. Local police have advised all people to continue to avoid the area.
