On the early afternoon (local time) of Sunday, August 26, police reported a mass shooting incident in Jacksonville Landing (Florida). According to local sources, a gunman opened fire during a sports video game tournament at the GLHF Game Bar. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office announced at approximately 14:50 (local time) that the suspected shooter was killed by police officers at the scene of the incident. According to local authorities, at least four people were killed in the shooting, with seven more suffering injuries. The area has remains cordoned off by police as of 16:30; transportation disruptions are anticipated in the area in the coming hours.
