A power outage in Johor Bahru cut electricity supply to 10,000 people, causing major traffic congestion, on Thursday, September 6. The blackout began at 13:04 (local time) due to a break in the supply center, according to the general manager of the city's electricity company Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB). Police deployed to major intersections to assist with directing traffic. The blackout, which is affecting homes and businesses from Johor Bahru city center to parts of Tebrau, is ongoing as of 15:09. An investigation into the cause of the problem is ongoing. Senai International Airport (JHB) is not reporting any flight delays or cancelations.
