A shooting incident reported at the Fifth Third Bank on Fountain Square in Cincinnati (Ohio) on the morning (local time) of Thursday, September 6, has been contained. According to a police spokesperson, at least four people were killed in the incident, including the suspected perpetrator, whose motive remains unclear. Two other people were also injured in the shooting. Police have cordoned off the area while an investigation into the incident continues; a heightened security presence and associated transportation disruptions are anticipated around Fountain Square in the coming hours. However, there is not believed to be any further threat.
