Lyon International Airport temporarily closed Monday, September 10, due to security incident

Flights have been suspended at Lyon-Saint-Exupéry International Airport (LYS) as of the early afternoon of Monday, September 10 (local time), after a man drove a vehicle onto a runway. According to current estimates by Eurocontrol, flight operations are expected to remain suspended until 18:00. Flight delays, cancelations, and diversions are to be anticipated.
