Eastern Economic Forum to take place in Vladivostok from September 11 to 13; disruptions expected

The Eastern Economic Forum will take place from Tuesday, September 11, through Thursday, September 13, at the Far Eastern Federal University campus on Russky island in Vladivostok. Numerous heads of states, such as Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping, and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, will attend. A heightened security presence is expected, along with street traffic restrictions. Disruptions are also likely at Vladivostok International Airport (VVO).
