Hijri New Year, the beginning of the Islamic calendar, will be celebrated in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by government institutions and the private sector on Thursday, September 13. Dubai’s Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) announced extended service and free public parking during the holiday.
