Severe disruptions are being reported on the Greater Anglia rail network as of the afternoon (local time) of Monday, September 24. According to transportation officials, a person was hit by a train between Goodmayes and Romford stations. As of 18:00, rail operations have resumed; nevertheless, delays are expected between Liverpool Street and Shenfield, Southend Victoria, Braintree, Colchester, Ipswich, and Norwich, until at least 20:00. 


Potentially affected travelers are advised to confirm the status of their trains prior to departure for the train station.
