Anti-racism march to take place in Hamburg on September 29; traffic disruptions expected

The Welcome United civil society group has called for a rally against racism to take place in Hamburg on Saturday, September 29. A march is set to begin at noon (local time) at the Rathausmarkt and end at 15:00 at the harbor; protesters will march through Hamburg and circle the Binnenalster lake. The event also includes a concert, which will take place at 18:00. A heightened security presence is expected, along with localized traffic disruptions.  


Individuals in Hamburg are advised to plan routes avoiding the vicinity of the march to minimize inconvenience and allow for extra time to reach their destinations.
