Eurostar workers and members of the Rail, Maritime, and Transport (RMT) union called off a strike at London's St. Pancras station originally planned for Sunday, September 30, through Tuesday, October 2. Following negotiations with Eurostar, RMT representatives announced the cancelation of the work stoppage on Wednesday, September 26.

Eurostar workers were prepared to stage a 48-hour strike to protest difficult working conditions that have led to numerous travel disruptions in recent months.

Travelers are advised to monitor the situation and confirm the status of their trains prior to departure.
