The low-cost Danish airline Primera Air announced it would cease all operations from Monday, October 1, and file for bankruptcy the following day. Flights scheduled for Monday evening were canceled and travelers were told they should not come to the airport on Tuesday. Passengers were redirected to the Civil Aviation Authority and their travel agencies to seek alternate transport solutions.


Primera Air decided to file for bankruptcy after it failed to obtain necessary financing. The airline operated low-cost flights to the US and across Europe.


Travelers are advised to make alternate travel arrangements and contact the airline for more information.
