Railway traffic severely disrupted since September 30 by an ongoing protest in Khemis Miliana

According to the National Company for Railway Transport (SNTF), 20 high-speed and regional trains have been canceled daily since Sunday, September 30, due to a protest taking place in Khemis Miliana (Ain Defla). Demonstrators have been blocking the railway at the Khemis Miliana station, significantly disrupting the Algiers-Oran and Algiers-Chlef lines.

Protesters are denouncing their exclusion from the social housing beneficiaries list.  


Travelers are advised to monitor the situation, plan alternate routes, and allow for extra time to reach their destinations.
