"Russian March" protests are set to take place in Moscow and other Russian cities on Sunday, November 4, on the occasion of Russian National Unity Day. Various rallies have been organized by ultranationalist organizations in Moscow, including on Marshal Vasilevksy, Marshal Birjuzova, Pererva, and Druzhinnikovskaya streets, throughout the day. Localized transportation disruptions and potential unrest are expected.
Other rallies and demonstrations are scheduled to be held in Syktyvar (Komi Republic) and Yekaterinburg (Sverdlovsk oblast). Although the request for a march was rejected in Saint Petersburg, participants have announced they would still commemorate the event.
Individuals are advised to avoid all gatherings as a precaution.
