Some 12,000 people are expected to participate in the annual LGBT pride parade being held on Saturday, November 17, in central Hong Kong. The march will begin in Victoria Park at 14:00 (local time) and end at Edinburgh Place. Heightened security can be expected in the vicinity of the march route. Severe traffic disruptions and road closures due to large crowds are also to be anticipated.
