The march will reportedly begin at 16:00 (local time) at Plaza de la República, proceed down Paseo de la Reforma, Juarez Avenue, and Eje Central Lázaro Cárdenas before ending at the Zócalo. According to organizers, the demonstration seeks to promote awareness for the "poor and marginalized." A heightened security presence and associated transportation disruptions are likely in the vicinity of the demonstration.
The November 11 Zombie March will mark the 11th edition of the gathering which seeks to raise awareness to various social causes. As many as 10,000 people participated in the demonstration in 2017.
Individuals present in Mexico City are advised to monitor the situation, anticipate transportation disruptions, obey all instructions issued by the local authorities, and avoid all demonstrations as a precaution.
