Heavy rainfall has caused flooding in recent days in the provinces of Buenos Aires, Sante Fe, Entre Ríos, and Formosa, leaving at least four people dead and forcing the evacuations of some 3000 residents as of Wednesday, November 14. Among the most affected areas are Sante Fe province, western Entre Ríos, and La Matanza district (Buenos Aires province). Dry conditions are forecast in the affected areas through Friday, November 16.
Individuals in affected areas are advised to keep abreast of weather forecasts and of weather alerts via the National Meteorological Service. Remember that driving or walking through running water can be dangerous; 15 cm (6 in) of running water is enough to knock over an adult.
