Flight delays and cancelations are expected at Buenos Aires’s Jorge Newbery Airport (AEP, a.k.a. Aeroparque) on Friday, November 16, due to an assembly and work stoppage by aviation workers taking place between 07:00 and 11:00 (local time). Residual disruptions are likely following this four-hour period.
Similar actions have taken place in recent weeks, including a wildcat strike on November 8, which resulted in the cancelation of more than 250 flights at AEP and Buenos Aires’s Ezeiza International Airport (EZE).
Travelers are advised to confirm the status of their flights prior to departure for the airport via the Aeropuertos Argentina website and to contact their airlines for more information.
