A bomb threat was reported at Cesar Chavez Public Charter School in Washington, DC, at 09:30 (local time) on Monday, November 19. The school has been evacuated and the 700 block of 12th Street, SE has been closed by police. It is currently unclear if the threat is legitimate or a hoax; no injuries have been reported. A heightened security presence and localized traffic disruptions are to be expected around the school as authorities continue to investigate the situation.
