An active shooter has been reported at Mercy Hospital in the Bronzeville neighborhood of Chicago (Illinois) on the afternoon (local time) of Monday, November 19. The shooting began around 16:18 and multiple casualties have been reported. A heavy police presence has been deployed to the site and security cordons have been put in place, closing northbound and southbound routes from 25th Street to 31st Street, and eastbound and westbound routes from King Drive to Michigan Avenue.
