A Rodalies train derailed on R4 Manresa-Sant Vicenç de Calders line between the Catalan cities of Terrasa and Manresa on Tuesday morning, November 20 (local time); one person was killed and multiple others injured. A landslide was reportedly the cause of the incident. Circulation on the R4 and R12 lines between Terrasa and Manresa has been suspended until further notice; delays are expected on other parts of the lines. Alternative road transportation is being provided.


Heavy rain has impacted northern Spain over the past week; further flooding and landslides are possible.
