Flight delays and cancelations are possible at Buenos Aires’s Jorge Newbery Airport (AEP, a.k.a. Aeroparque) beginning on Wednesday, November 21, due to threatened work stoppages by aviation workers. It is currently unknown how significant or long-lasting the disruptions will be, should the actions go ahead.
Various work stoppages have taken place in recent weeks, including a wildcat strike on November 8 that resulted in the cancelation of more than 250 flights at AEP and Buenos Aires’s Ezeiza International Airport (EZE).
Travelers are advised to confirm the status of their flights prior to departure for the airport via the Aeropuertos Argentina website and to contact their airlines for more information.
