Protests by the environmentalist activist group Extinction Rebellion, ongoing since November 21, are set to continue in the capital London until Saturday, November 24. Participants are expected to stage "swarming" protests throughout the city from 07:00 (local time) each day. On November 24, demonstrators will gather at Parliament Square at 10:00 before marching through the city. Significant traffic disruptions are expected, notably on key bridges.
The protests have significantly impacted traffic, notably on the Lambeth, Tower, and Vauxhall bridges. Transport for London reported that the demonstrations have also affected public transportation.
Individuals located in London are advised to avoid all protests as a precaution and prepare for extra time to reach their destinations.
