The Vietnamese government has announced that it will extend its electronic visa program for foreign visitors until February 2021. Nationals from 47 countries - including a number of EU member states and the US - wishing to visit the country for up to 30 days are eligible. The e-visa program, introduced in 2016, was initially slated to expire on February 1, 2019.
