Vietnam: E-visa program extended through 2021


The Vietnamese government has announced that it will extend its electronic visa program for foreign visitors until February 2021. Nationals from 47 countries - including a number of EU member states and the US - wishing to visit the country for up to 30 days are eligible. The e-visa program, introduced in 2016, was initially slated to expire on February 1, 2019.


Travelers are advised to contact their nearest Vietnamese consulate or the Vietnam Immigration website for more information.
