The General Confederation of Labor (CGT) union has announced a rally will be held from noon (local time) at Place de la République in Paris on Saturday, December 1. Associated protests, to denounce falling purchasing power and unemployment, are expected in other cities as well. Associated traffic disruptions near protest sites are possible.
