Taxi drivers to hold protest in downtown Warsaw on November 28; associated disruptions expected

Taxi drivers will hold a protest in Warsaw on Wednesday, November 28, to demand tighter regulation targeting app-based ride-sharing services. Taxis will gather at noon (local time) in the city center and will drive from the National Stadium and from Torwar to Trzech Krzyży Square. Significant traffic disruptions are expected in the area. Further protests could take place during rush hour in the coming days if the protesters’ demands are not met.


Individuals in Warsaw are advised to avoid all protests as a precaution and allow for extra time to reach their destinations.
