An anti-G20 protest is scheduled to take place outside of Argentina’s Consulate General in São Paulo on Friday, November 30. Participants are expected to gather on Avenida Paulista starting at 17:00 (local time). Localized traffic disruptions are anticipated around the demonstration.
The group is protesting the ongoing G20 Summit being held in Buenos Aires (Argentina). The G20 is made up of the world’s 20 largest economies, i.e. the US, Germany, UK, Turkey, South Africa, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Japan, Mexico, Italy, India, Indonesia, France, China, Canada, Brazil, Australia, and Argentina, and the EU.
Individuals in São Paulo are advised to avoid all protests as a precaution and allow additional time to travel.
