Red and orange alerts for ice and snow issued for eastern regions on December 3; associated disruptions expected

Red weather alerts, the highest level, were issued for the regions of Vysočina, Jihomoravský, Olomoucký, and Pardubický on Monday, December 3, due to snow storms and ice. Orange alerts were also issued for central and eastern regions of the country.

Associated transportation disruptions, including hazardous driving conditions, can be expected.  


Individuals present in affected areas are advised to monitor local weather reports, confirm travel reservations, and allow additional time for travel in affected areas.
