A protest is set to take place in the capital Helsinki on Independence Day on Thursday, December 6, to denounce far-right extremism. Participants will gather at 16:00 (local time) at Narinkkatori, before marching to Taivallahden kenttä in Töölö, via Runeberginkau. Other rallies, notably from far-right groups, are expected to take place in the vicinity to celebrate Independence Day. Associated transportation disruptions are possible, along with potential clashes between protesters, or with police forces. 


Individuals located in Helsinki are advised to avoid all protests as a precaution, and follow any instructions issued by local authorities.
