Clashes were reported during a demonstration against the far-right Vox party in Terrassa (Catalonia) on the afternoon (local time) of Thursday, December 6. According to reports, at least one person was injured during the protest and police forces arrested 20 demonstrators. Further demonstrations are possible in the area in the coming days. A heightened security presence, along with associated transportation disruptions, are expected in the vicinity of any demonstration.
Protests have been organized in response to Vox winning 12 seats in the Andalusian parliament in the December 2 regional elections. Thousands of people demonstrated in Seville, Grenada, and Malaga on December 3.
