The General Confederation of Labor (CGT) and National Transport and Logistics Union (FO) have called on road transport workers - including ambulance drivers, lorry drivers, among others - to hold an indefinite and nationwide strike from 22:00 (local time) on Sunday, December 9. Transportation disruptions can be expected throughout the country; associated protests are also possible in major urban areas.

As a reminder, significant disruptions and unrest are possible in Paris on December 8 due to planned protests organized by the "yellow vest" movement.

Individuals are advised to monitor the development of the situation, allow for extra-time to reach their destination, follow any instructions issued by local authorities, and avoid all protests as a precaution.
