As of Thursday morning, all flights had been suspended. The airport has advised travelers with flights schedules on Thursday to confirm the status of their flight prior their departure for the airport, as disruptions could persist. Airport authorities are reportedly working with police to investigate the incident. Several arriving flights have been diverted to other regional airports, including Heathrow Airport (LHR) and London Stansted Airport (STN).
