Ban on single-use plastic bags in Bali to take effect in June 2019

On Monday, December 24, the Governor of Bali announced a ban on single-use plastic bags, styrofoam cups, and disposable plastic straws. According to local authorities, the ban will enter effect in June 2019. 


Travelers are advised to abide by all local laws.
