The Airports Authority of India (AAI) announced plans to introduce an inline baggage security system at the domestic terminal of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Airport (CCU) in Kolkata by April 2019. These new security systems coincide with continued structural improvements to its terminals and runways to support larger aircraft and more international flight offerings. 


Individuals traveling via CCU are advised to adhere to instructions issued by airport authorities and take note of new security procedures.
