The Zimbabwe Hospital Doctors Association (ZHDA) announced on Thursday, January 10 it would end a 40-day strike ahead of a meeting between union representatives and government officials. Residual disruptions are nevertheless possible at public hospitals in the coming days as health care services gradually resume.


Individuals present in Zimbabwe are advised to confirm doctor's appointments, to anticipate long waiting times in medical facilities, and to avoid any potential protests.
