A gas explosion at a bakery in Paris left at least three people dead and 47 others injured on Saturday, January 12. According to reports, the incident occurred at approximately 09:00 (local time) at a bakery on the corner of Rue Trevise and Rue De Montyon in the city's 9th arrondissement. According to city officials, the blast was caused by a gas leak. Residual traffic disruptions are expected in the area in the coming hours as recovery efforts continue.
