France: Taxis driver protests at Paris airports January 22

France News Alert

Ongoing taxi driver protests at Paris’ Orly and Charles de Gaulle airports January 22; transportation disruptions likely

TIMEFRAME expected from 1/22/2019, 12:00 AM until 1/25/2019, 11:59 PM (Europe/Paris). COUNTRY/REGION Charles-de-Gaulle International Airport, Paris-Orly International Airport

Event

Taxi drivers are currently protesting as of Tuesday, January 22, at Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and Orly (ORY) airports to denounce, among other things, unfair competition with unofficial taxi drivers and VTC network companies. Advice

Travelers are advised to allow extra time to reach their destinations and to avoid all demonstrations.
