Four unidentified knife-wielding assailants were shot by police in Nalchik (Kabardino-Balkaria Republic) after attempting to attack police officers. The attackers reportedly assaulted the officers on the corner of Idarov and Suvorov streets, wounding one officer, before the police fired on them, killing three and wounding the other.
