Leaders of the Kisan Khet Mazdoor Congress political party are calling for a demonstration in support of farmers to take place in Delhi on Wednesday, January 30. The rally will be held at Raj Ghatas and around 15,000 people are expected to participate in the event. Heightened security measures and localized traffic disruptions are anticipated around the protest.


The Kisan Khet Mazdoor Congress party have accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government of being anti-farmer. Farmers are issuing a series of demands, including increased remuneration for crops and compensation for damages.


Individuals in Delhi are advised to monitor the situation, avoid all protests as a precaution, and allow additional time to travel around Raj Ghatas.
