The Centre for People's Resistance (CPR) has called for a demonstration in Windhoek on Wednesday, January 30, to denounce the US government's policy towards Venezuela. A march is set to take place from 12:45 to 14:30 (local time) beginning at the Kudu Statue on Independence Avenue and proceeding to the US Embassy at Ausspannplatz. A heightened security presence and localized transportation disruptions are to be expected near the demonstration.

The Centre for People's Resistance (CPR) declared its solidarity with President Nicolás Maduro's administration in Venezuela on January 27 and pledged to protest the US government's policy towards Venezuela.
